Application of Aluminum Bar

Description
According to the different alloying element content, aluminum bar can be divided into eight srries. Generally, every series has three digits, every digit has figure or letter,which means that the second digit represents controlled impurity number, the third and fourth digit represent lowest component of pure aluminum element after percentage decimal point.
1xxx series of industrial pure aluminum (Al)
2xxx series of aluminum copper alloy alumnum bar (Al—Cu)
3xxx series of aluminum alloy aluminum bar (Al—Mn)
4xxx series of alumnum silicon alloy aluminum bar (Al—Si)
5xxx series of aluminum magnesium alloy aluminum bar (AL—Mg)
6xxx series of aluminum magnesium silicon alloy aluminum bar (Al—Mg—Si)
7xxx series of aluminum zinc alloy aluminum bar [Al—Zn—Mg—(Cu)]
8xxx series of aluminum and other element
Application
According to the appearance, Aluminum Bar can be divided into: circle aluminum bar, square aluminum bar, hexagonal aluminum bar, trapezoid aluminum bar, etc.

According to the different element of metal in aluminum bar, it can be divided into eight great classification.
1. 1000 series aluminum represents 1050, 100, 1100 series. In all series, 1000 series belongs to the series which has the most aluminum component. Its purity can be beyond 99.00 percent. Due to without any other element, the product processing is very simple. The price is very cheap, which is the most common series of the present conventional industry. The popular series in the market are 1050 and 1060 series. 1000 series aluminum bar ensures the lowest aluminum according to the last two Arabic numerals, like 1050 series, the last two Arabic numerals is 50. According to the international mark naming principle, aluminum element must be beyond 99.5 percent, which can be regarded as qualified product.
2. 2000 series aluminum bar represents 2A16(LY16),2A02(LY6). 2000 series aluminum bar has feature of high hardness. Its copper element is about between 3 percent and 5 percent. 2000 series aluminum bar belongs to space aluminum, which is not common in conventional industry. 2024 is the typical hard aluminum alloy in aluminum-copper-magnesium series, which is alloy can be heat treatment, high strength, good plasticity, machinability, fair corrosion resistance. After heat treatment (T3, T4, T351) of 2024 aluminum bar, the improvement of mechanical property is remarkable, the status of T3 is as follows: extension of strength 470 MPa, 0.2 percent of yielding strength 325 MPa, elongation: 10 percent, fatigue strength 105 MPa, hardness 120 HB. The main usage of 2024 aluminum bar: airplane structure, rivet, truck hub, propeller parts and all kinds of other structural parts.
3. 3000 series aluminum mainly represents 3003, 3A213. 3000 series aluminum main element is magnesium which component is between 1.0 percent and 1.5v percent. It is a series of good rust protection.
4. 4000 series aluminum bar represents 4A01, which is the series of high silicon component. Generally, silicon component is between 4.5 percent and 6.0 percent, which is applied in architecture material, mechanical parts, forging material, welding material, low smelting point, good corrosion resistance. Description: has a feature of heat resistance, wear resistance.
5. 5000 series aluminum represents 5052m 5005, 5083, 5A05 series. 5000 series is common alloy aluminum bar series, main element is magnesium, whose component is between 3 percent and 5 percent, also called aluminum magnesium alloy, whose feature is low density, high extension strength, large elongation. In the same square meter, the weight of aluminum magnesium alloy is lower than other series. It is widely used in conventional industry. 5000 series aluminum bar is one of the relatively ripe aluminum bar.
6. 6000 series aluminum bar represents 6061, 6063 main element is magnesium and silicon, it concentrates merits of 4000 series and 5000 series. 6061 is a cold treatment aluminum forging product, which is suitable to the application of high demands on corrosion resistance and oxidization, with good workability, easy to coating.
7. 7000 series aluminum bar represents 7075, whose main element is zinc, belongs to space series. It is aluminum magnesium zinc copper alloy, heat dealing alloy, super hard aluminum alloy, with good wear corrosion, which depends on import.
8. 8000 series aluminum bar. Its common series is 8011 which belongs to other series, and the most application is aluminum foil, it is not usual to produce aluminum bar.
